About Me

I have been drawing and creating since I was 3 years old. I have always had a love of art & design. I won coloring contests as a child and had my own comic “Harry the cat” published in a local newspaper. I loved to create cartoon illustrations and created many mascots and company logos for clients of my mother’s custom t-shirt shop in downtown Nevada CIty. I love the hands on process of creativity. I hand made projects out of paper, fabric, metal, wood or clay – anything and everything I could get my hands on. Once I reached college graphic design was a perfect choice to blend my creative talents with an exciting career. I love to take complex project requirements and find creative solutions. For me, it is always fun and challenging to think “outside the box” and find innovative ways to solve a problem. And there is no project that I’ve completed that didn’t meet or exceed customers’ expectations.

With my creative right brain, I have been designing for print and web for the past 20 years. My expertise includes print design, illustration, custom web design and programming, flash animations, web-based training applications, and creating content managed websites. I have extensive experience designing for many levels of clients, from corporate or government clients to smaller retail businesses and everything in between. 

With my analytical left brain, I have worked in marketing management, proposal development, videography and event planning. I have worked on complex marketing campaigns and have been responsible for landing pages, web page SEO optimization, custom css, CRM setup and monitoring, print collateral and branding. I really enjoy working in the marketing and design fields because it allows me to fulfill all of my job skills, not just creative design.
